Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains what information MealCare ("we", "us") collects through this website, the MealCare platform, and MealCare Display, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to operate the Service well.
2. What we collect
Website forms: when you submit the demo request or partner application forms, we receive the details you provide (name, company, role, email, country, selected plan or partnership type, and your message). These forms are processed by Netlify Forms, our website hosting provider.
Platform data: customers enter operational records (inspections, temperature logs, corrective actions, documents, dish and menu data) which we process solely to provide the Service. Display devices: when you pair an Android device, we process pairing identifiers and periodic device status ("heartbeat") telemetry — such as online status and app version — to operate and troubleshoot the displays. Website basics: our hosting provider generates standard server logs, and we set a small functional cookie to remember your language preference and use browser storage for your theme choice. Analytics: we use two analytics services on this website. Plausible Analytics is privacy-friendly and cookieless, collecting aggregate usage statistics only. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers, and usage data — including your IP address, pages visited, and device information — is processed by Google on our behalf. We use both to understand how the site is used, not to build advertising profiles.
3. What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not use guest-facing Display screens to collect information about diners — they only present dish information.
4. How we use information
We use the information above to respond to demo and partner requests, provide and improve the Service, keep Display screens in sync with your records, provide support, meet legal obligations, and protect the Service against misuse.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate the Service — currently including Netlify (website hosting and form processing), Plausible Analytics (aggregate, cookieless website statistics), and Google (Google Analytics). Providers process data on our instructions or under their own published terms, and are not permitted to use it for purposes we have not agreed to.
6. Regional data protection
We serve customers across the GCC and orient our practices to applicable data protection laws in the countries where we operate — including the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and UAE data protection legislation. This is a statement of orientation and intent, not a claim of certification; obligations vary by country and by how you use the Service with your own data subjects.
7. Retention
Form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle your request and our commercial relationship. Platform data is retained for the duration of your subscription and made available for export for a reasonable period after termination, after which it is deleted from active systems.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us through the channels below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we process, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage strong account credentials and prompt reporting of any suspected issue.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or this website, and the "last updated" date above will change.
11. Contact
Privacy questions and requests can be raised through the demo form on our homepage or the contact details provided in your agreement.
