SFDA menu labelling: calories, sodium, caffeine, and activity-time

SFDA requirements for food establishments include calorie labelling on menus and the disclosure of allergens. In an announcement published June 18, 2025, the SFDA added new requirements effective July 1, 2025: a saltshaker icon next to high-sodium meals, the caffeine content of beverages, and the estimated physical-activity time needed to burn a meal's calories — across physical menus, digital menus, and online ordering platforms.

MealCare Display shows calories, allergens, high-sodium indicators, caffeine content, and activity-time equivalents at every buffet station — on screens that serve as digital menus, synced with your food safety records. It helps operations present the information these requirements call for.
